Generous donation to support tutoring services

gmtutoring centreThe health insurance provider guard.me announced on Friday, Nov 28 at a ceremony at the Davis Learning Commons that they will be donating a total gift of $500,000 to Sheridan College to help our growing international community of students thrive.

This gift will be directed to international student scholarships and bursaries and to the guard.me Tutoring Centre.  Some of the money will be used to improve the tutoring space at the Davis Campus.  There will also be money dedicated to designing and implementing new academic support services to support Sheridan’s growing International enrollment.  This money will be distributed across all three campuses.

This donation is a testament to the important role Library and Learning Services plays in the success of our students.

Thanks to guard.me for their generosity!
