Freedom to Read Week @ the Davis Library Feb. 22-24

Freedom to Read week is an annual event observed in Canada “that encourages Canadians to think about and reaffirm their commitment to intellectual freedom.”

In celebration of this, the Library is encouraging members of the Sheridan Community to come and tell us how they use their Freedom to Read. From Feb. 22-24, a video speaker’s corner will be set up on the 1st floor  of the Davis Library (j124a) from 12-1pm each day.  Students, faculty and staff will have the opportunity to tell us about a favourite library experience. Tell us about a favourite staff interaction or how you use the library to succeed. At the end of the week, the best experience captured will be posted on the Library Blog and be eligible for a $20.00 gift card to the campus bookstore.
