Please join the Library Team in welcoming our new Liaison Librarian for the Faculty of Applied Health and Community Studies, Catherine Baird.
Catherine has completed a Master of Library and Information Science, University of Western Ontario and a Master of Arts (German), University of British Columbia. With experience as a Health Science Librarian at York University and more recently at McMaster as a Marketing and Communications Librarian with liaison duties in Linguistics & Languages, Cognitive Science, Comparative Literature and Women’s Studies, Catherine comes to us with a broad range of knowledge.
But wait, there is more! Catherine has taught English in Germany and German in Canada. As a regular presenter on the Library Conference circuit, her presentations include Video Killed the Radio Star but Made My Library Awesome and Librarians Without Borders.
Catherine will be working out of the Davis Campus and begins with us on March 4th. Drop by to say hello!
